Wednesday Ski and Snowshoeing Trips
- Every Wednesday during the ski season we take the bus to a ski resort up north. We depart at 9:00 AM sharp from the Parking Lot at
the Etobicoke Centennial Park, Ski Chalet and return from the ski resort at 3:30 PM arriving home before dinnertime.

From April to October we run an Urban Hiking program. For further details go to Hiking.
Established in 1982 we promote and develop cross-country skiing at the recreational
level for Active Seniors 55+ in the GTA.

HIKE INFORMATION & DETAILS:
Starting Point: Bindertwine Park, Kleinburg
Starting Time: - Meet at: 10:15 - Start at: 10:30
Parking Facilities/Fees: free parking
Washroom Facilities?: Portapotty in Bindertwine Park
This hike follows the Humber River (William Granger Greenway) behind the McMichael Gallery, and through meadows and
forest towards Rutherford Road. We will return by the same trail. This is a 2 to 2-1/2 hour hike on a mainly flat, gravel trail.
Lunch Arrangements (i.e. Picnic or Restaurant):
Choice: bring picnic or join us for lunch at the Chartreuse pub/restaurant in Kleinburg – (Directions to lunch location will be
provided on the day for those joining us.)
Drive north on Islington Ave. about 45 minutes from Bloor St to Kleinburg.
Turn right onto Stegman’s Mill Road at the 4-way stop in Kleinburg.
Bindertwine Park is a short distance down on the right. Free parking.
