The Etobicoke X country Ski Club is the only ski club in the GTA that caters to active seniors 55+.
Monday Skiing
Members who wish to practice skiing can meet at the Etobicoke Centennial Park Ski Chalet on Monday mornings at 8:30, starting Jan. 4, 2010.
Wednesday Trips
Our bus departs from the Ski Chalet promptly at 9:00 a.m. For additional information click here.

The Urban Hiking Season is here!
URBAN WALKS 2010
May – June
Meet 10:15 at a designated parking area with Hike leaving at 10:30 sharp. Distance is between 8 to 10 Km for each
one.
1. TUES. May 11 – Jack Darling Park.
Take the #427 S. to the QEW. Drive West (about 8K. to Mississauga Rd. Exit #130 S. to the Lakeshore and head West
to the parking lot. Bring a lunch or we can go to laFelicita in Clarkson. Please advise Anita by Monday, May 10 if you
plan to eat there.

2. WED. May 26 – Snug Harbour (Port Credit).
Take the QEW to Mississauga Rd. and exit South. Turn left onto the Lakeshore, crossing the Credit River bridge. Turn
right at the first lights at Stavebank Rd. and drive to the parking lot entrance on your right. For those who wish to stay
we can lunch at the Snug Harbour Restaurant.

3. WED. June 16 – Old Mill to James Gardens
Meet in the parking lot at Etienne Brule park on the East side of the river, below the Old Mill restaurant and subway
station. There are picnic tables at James Gardens if you wish to bring a lunch.

4. WED. June 23 – Etobicoke Creek (Brampton)
Take Hwy. 410 North to Sandalwood Parkway, turn left (West). Go to Conestoga Drive and turn right into the parking
lot on the North side of Tim Horton’s. We will walk North along the Etobicoke Creek and back. If anyone feels like
lunch after the walk it can be arranged.
