Wednesday Ski and Snowshoeing Trips

  • Every Wednesday during the ski season we take the bus to a ski resort up north. We depart at 9:00 AM sharp from the Parking Lot at
    the Etobicoke Centennial Park, Ski Chalet and return from the ski resort at 3:30 PM arriving home before dinnertime.

From April to October we run an Urban Hiking program. For further details go to Hiking.
Established in 1982 we promote and develop cross-country skiing at the recreational
level for Active Seniors 55+ in the GTA.

Wednesday, October 22- Scottsdale Farm

Location:                          Scottsdale Farm – Georgetown
Starting Point:                   Farm parking lot
Starting Time: -                 Meet at:  10:15 -  Start at: 10:30
Duration of Hike:               Approx. 3 hours – mostly flat terrain
Lunch Arrangements:        Bring picnic lunch.

DIRECTIONS:
Take Hwy # 401 west to Trafalgar Rd. (exit 328).  
Drive north on Trafalgar to Hwy # 7, Turn left (west) onto Hwy # 7 for approx. 3.5 km to Trafalgar Rd.  
Follow Trafalgar north for about 2 km and turn right at the sign for Scottsdale Farm Conference and Reception Centre.

November hike to Jack Darling Park - Port Credit lead by Margaret Ramsay - date to be determined.
